What You'll Need: The Simple Ingredient (For 1 serving)
This dish is focused on one powerful, vegan ingredient!
1 package of Soft Tofu (Sundubu): Choose the long, tubular package of extra-soft tofu for the best creamy texture.
The Perfect Sauce
Combine the following in a small bowl:
3 teaspoons of Soy Sauce
3 teaspoons of Finely Chopped Green Onions (Scallions)
1 teaspoon of Sesame Seeds
1 teaspoon of Sesame Oil
Stir the ingredients well. This savory mix is your flavorful vegan dressing!
How to Prepare Your Soft Tofu Salad
The preparation is very fast, but remember to handle the tofu gently!
Cut the Tofu: Use a knife to cut the soft tofu package lengthwise down the middle.
Carefully Transfer to Plate: The tofu is extremely soft. Gently use your hand to push the tofu out of the package and onto your serving plate. Repeat with the other half.
Slice for Serving: Once on the plate, slice the tofu into 1-centimeter (about half-inch) thick pieces, cutting straight across.
Arrange Nicely: Gently tilt the sliced pieces slightly to the side to make the presentation look neat.
Drizzle the Sauce: Pour your prepared savory vegan sauce generously all over the sliced tofu.
